No. OvidMD was designed to work with both of these products; however it can stand alone. Because the OvidMD tool comes with a package of clinical content, no other subscriptions are required.
To ensure uninterrupted service, all OvidMD subscriptions are renewed automatically, using the credit card on file. All of our annual subscriptions are renewed at the subscription rate then in effect on the date upon which the current subscription term ends, unless otherwise advised. You may cancel your subscription at any time prior to any such renewal by calling OvidMD customer service at 800-343-0064 or 781-440-4950 for international. Failure to cancel your subscription for a subsequent renewal period prior to the commencement of such renewal period will result in your credit card being charged for such renewal.
Content is updated on a quarterly, monthly and daily basis. All journals and books will be the most current issues and editions. We understand that clinicians need the most current information and we update OvidMD on a daily basis to support that.
U.S. physicians can earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ through searching a clinical topic in OvidMD. Claim your research by clicking on the "Get Credit for Your Research" link on your results page. Fill out the form that describes what you have researched, then print your certificate. Physicians can also refer back to previous certificates and see their history which provides the date, clinical topic researched, copy of certificate and completed question set.
